For those who are already tandem rated and wish to come into ASC exemption 9785.

ASC Exemption 9785 covers Hanggliders, Paragliders, Powered Paragliders and Powered Hanggliders.   You can see a copy of the actual exemption at

Some pilots are seeking ASC over a need for insurance.  ASC does not have insurance and can not beg, borrow or steal it.  We do have a complete and recognized system for training, exemption handling and instructor review.

How to transfer:

  1. 1. Provide: name, address, phone number and email.
  2. 2. Provide a clear picture of your existing credentials or the web link to see them.
  3. 3. Pay $130 yr to cover membership and exemption fee. (If you are already a member, exemption alone is $100. Membership must be active to use exemption.)

We can handle this via email. For example, payments can be through paypal via the above email address.

Credentials can then be emailed back.

I hope this helps with your decision.
