November 20, 2003 - The US Sport Aviation Expo Advisory Board at Sebring Regional Airport, Sebring, Florida, announces the establishment of an Exposition to highlight this new category of aircraft and associated certifications. 

This is a "must attend" annual event and will be conducted at the site of the famous 12 Hours of Sebring Endurance Race.  This first Expo will be held October 28-31, 2004.

It is organized to bring together manufacturers of Light Sport Aircraft and kits, providers of components and associated hardware and those people with potential ownership and dealership interest in this new category of aircraft.  Hard surface display sites are available, along with camping, rental cars and vendor golf carts. 

Present will be private, ASC, EAA and government representatives to discuss aircraft capabilities and limitations, licensing of current aircraft, and training and certification procedures for sport pilots and maintenance personnel.
