How to File a Supporting Complaint
On July 5th, 2011, Aero Sports Connection, Inc. the national organization that supports ultralight and light-sport aviation, filed formal ADA charges against the Federal Aviation Administration with the Department of Justice.
The FAA has attempted to unilaterally change the definition of powered paragliders and hang gliders to preclude the use of wheels on foot launch hang gliders and powered paragliders.
This is in opposition to all standard practices in light aviation and will preclude handicap use of both powered paragliders and hang gliders.
Rather than accept the inappropriate removal of wheels from the single place ultralights and trainers, ASC is directly challenging the FAA actions.

I would like to support the ASC complaint as an injured individual. I have been discriminated against by an the FAA as follows:
-Name ______________________________
- Address ______________________________
-City, St, ZIP _____________________________
- Phone number ________________________
-Email __________________________________
- The Federal Aviation Administration has discriminated against me. In particular Raymond Towles, Acting Flight Standards Director.
- The original letter causing the discrimination was mailed on December 13, 2010 and is being implemented across the country at this time.
- I am less then capable of running with a 30-60 lb. backpack. Which would be required if wheels were excluded from powered paragliders. The vehicle has been amply demonstrated as a foot launch powered paraglider with or without the wheels by able bodied pilots. Whether I am formally handicapped or not, the fact remains I will be unable to fly without wheels and there is no other alternative for this type of flight.
